I am told and advised to treat my plantain and banana suckers roots with garmaline chemical before planting to kill maggots in it. It is said that my yield can be limited as the plant would be stunted should they be infected by such maggot? I am preparing to go into large scale plantain and banana farming; please advise accordingly. Thanks
