Is this leaf discoloration normal?

Lemon    None Given

There is some yellowing and browning on some of the leaves of my lemon tree. The tree is fruiting. There are two lemons growing currently and there has been a lot of flowering. It has never finished producing a lemon and this is the farthest it has gotten. I've recently started using a leaf spray recommended from the tree's website online (KeyPlex 350 DP Formula) and Trivium 18-5-10 slow release (also recommended online). Since I've started using these this has been the most productive the plant has been. Am I not using enough?

Have you only applied fertilizer via foliar spray? Citrus tend to be heavy feeders and requires a slow release fertilizer in the root zone.

The Trivium 18-5-10 slow release goes on the soil, I've only put it on once a few months back probably. I haven't added any more since I still see them there. Should I be adding them more frequently?

For more mature trees we recommend 3-4 times a year depending on the soil conditions and plant health. You may have micronutrient problems due to being in a pot vs. outdoors, so I would recommend getting a plant tissue analysis done to see if there are any deficiencies. Many of them look similar and are hard to diagnose visually.
