Over wintering garlic

Garlic (Allium Sativum)    None Given

I planted garlic and Tohono O'odham onions in early October, expecting a frost by late October. No frost yet and they are both coming up strong. Will they be alright for overwintering for summer harvest?

Yes, it will be fine. I am in Richmond, Va. I usually plant mine around mid October. We have a lot of warm days and it grows well before the hard freeze. I like to loosely cover the ground with straw once I know it is going to stay cold.
