I bought a papaya tree and I was told that it shall fruit soon knowing its around 4 years old ! It's been with me for Almost 8 months but nothing, it's not even thriving, on the contrary it's leaves are going yellow and drying up! It's in a huge bucket I never transplanted it, I water it a bit every 3 days, it's a hot weather down here in saudi ? Could it be a male papaya ? Am I doing something wrong ?
