brown spots on Murraya koenigii leaves

General    Spain

Good afternoon, we are having some issues on the curry leaves (Murraya koenigii). The leaves tips turns brown and the underside is full of brown patchs. This happened in february (our winter), so we thought that probably this was related to a temperature stress, as this plant is tropical; and we got higher temperatures the problem disappeared, but now is happening again and we are still having very good temperatures (end of summer-beginning autumn), so now we are a little bit confused. Could it be a fungus maybe? Alternaria?. What else could be the reason for these symptoms?.

Thank you and regards.

Generally, tip burn may happen due to excess accumulation of salt. The Murraya koenigii is very sensitive to water logging condition, so should water only when it is necessary and require good drainage.
