I am having trouble with a large grasshoppers in Florida. They zoom in and eat the leaves off everything in my garden Is there an organic way to deter them.

Neem oil or any neem based product (which contain azadirachtin) is the best organic way to control grasshoppers in the garden. Along with it also encourage natural enemies like birds and beneficial insects in the garden. If the garden is small you can use a net or floating row covers to prevent entering of grasshoppers.
