Possible Pecan Bacterial Leaf Scorch or something other?

Pecan    None Given

Hi there,
I'm from Italy and I'm trying to grow up some pecan plants.
Today I found on my Cape Fear these leaves with these brown dried scorch.
I read that Cape Fear is subject to pbls due to xylella fastidiosa so I'm concerned about it.
We had very high temperatures these weeks, about 100°F.
Three days ago we had a rainy afternoon, after weeks of drought, and today the temperature is rising again.
Three days ago I did not noticed these brown dried spots, so they appeared in about three days.
I had similar spots in September/October last year, only on cape fear.
According to you what can it be?
Maybe sunburn due to rain drops on leaves?
Could it be Bacterial Leaf Scorch?
Thank you very much!

Hi Mirko, it is very difficult to identify bacterial leaf scorch just from images. The bacteria need to be confirmed by laboratory analysis (isolation and DNA test). Generally bacterial leaf scorch symptoms tan color spots begin at the edges and near the tips of leaflets. Is your pecan plant showing stunted growth? Did you check the underside of leaves for any aphids or mites.

Thank you for your reply! Sometimes I found some little flyes. Today I noticed also a bug. Anyway the plants seems to grow up good. This has tripled its dimensions!
