Fruit bending, aphids and leaf holes observed on okra plants. Are they correlated?
Thanks!

In my ridge-gourd plant i have seen fruit bending due to stinging of fruit fly. And i have also seen larvae of fruit fly at that spot.

Hi Rupinder, the first images of insects below leaf surface are Thrips and not Aphids.

The Insect in the third slide are Jassids. Red cotton bug and white fly were also observed in the field. Jassids outnumbered w.r.t other two insects.

Hi Rupinder, it looks like the okra plants are infested with three different insects. I think bending of fruits may be due stink bug infestation. Generally stink bug damage leads to twisting and deformation of fruits and leaves. And the holes on leaves may be due to corn earworm.

By careful examination I have not observed stink bug or corn worm but possibility of Thrips can't be ruled out. Thanks a lot!

The insects pictured are some kind of immature leafhopper, not aphids. I can't identify them further as they're immature, which makes it difficult, and you didn't indicate a location, which makes it near impossible. I don't think they directly caused the fruit bending via feeding, but may have transmitted a disease. I don't see any indication of feeding damage (generally small white or otherwise discolored spots on the leaves, especially the underside and near the midrib), so I'm not sure if I would suggest trying to control them.
