Spots on figs

Fig    None Given

Have 2 fig trees full of fruit. Tree and leaves look fine but figs are getting spots on them. See photo. How do I save this fruit?

This picture is out of focus and so it is hard to assess. But it looks to me that this is insect damage. Can you provide more images please? Also, please explain how extensive this damage is- does it happen all over the tree?
