For powdery mildew you can use Fungi-rid or Funginex (For control of
powdery mildew, apply 2.5 L FUNGINEX DC Fungicide per hectare by airblast sprayer at
tight cluster, pink and petal fall stages. May be applied 2 weeks after petal fall (midsummer)
if necessary. Make a maximum of 3-5 applications per season. Do not apply
: For control of powdery mildew and black spot, mix 1 L
per 1,000 L of water. Spray to thoroughly cover all plant surfaces. Do not apply by air.
NOTE: Do not let spray mixture stand in the tank overnight.
RESISTANCE-MANAGEMENT RECOMMENDATIONS
For resistance management, please note that FUNGINEX DC Fungicide contains a
Group 3 fungicide. Any fungal population may contain individuals naturally resistant to
FUNGINEX DC Fungicide and other Group 3 fungicides. A gradual or total loss of pest
control may occur over time if these fungicides are used repeatedly in the same fields.
Other resistance mechanisms that are not linked to site of action but specific for
individual chemicals, such as enhanced metabolism, may also exist. Appropriate
resistance-management strategies should be followed.
To delay fungicide resistance:
• Where possible, rotate the use of FUNGINEX DC Fungicide or other Group 3
fungicides with different groups that control the same pathogens.
• Use tank mixtures with fungicides from a different group when such use is permitted.
