Black dot insects on lemon grass

Lemon grass    None Given

I have grown lemon grass from seeds. The plant seemed to be healthy, until recently when I noticed small black dot all over it. On careful observation I realized that they were small insects, bugs that had covered every grass blade. I am a recent gardener and have no idea how to get rid of these. Please help

It seems aphids but photo is not clare, can you send a better one?

Are you sure this is lemon grass? I doubt because the flowers do not look like lemon grass flowers.

Whatever the plant is, it definitely seems like aphids . You can easily control these is such a small area using water spray. High pressure is better. This dislodges the insects. See this previous answer https://www.plantvillage.org/en/quest...
