Banana

PlantVillage    None Given

I am a farmer in Somalia, and I have a problem with my Banana plants. Is it possible to know the cause and the treatment. Thanks and much appreciation to you.

This is a very stressed banana plant. You are growing it in soil beside a building. It doesnt look like you are planting this in good soil. It could be the soil is depleted. It could also be that there location is also bad for other reasons. What is your goal in planting bananas? Can you find a better location? Have you seen other people grow bananas?

I think you have planted the banana tree recently and it is a big one for which it has not set up in soil.So the plant is dried up.

The banana plant, that I have posted 8 days ago had become finally dried and rot completely. Please look at these pictures.
NB: Manure tea has been given to it recently.
