Worm eating new growth on young grape vine, identification needed

What is the name of this worm, it feeds on the new growth of my young vines that has been planted a month ago?

This is a caterpillar of a moth or butterfly. Difficult to say what species based on the images. There are number of very prominent and easily recognizable caterpillars on grapes . This is not one of them. One suggestion from Twitter was Spodoptera, which is a genus of Noctuid moths.

But it is a caterpillar and it is eating your grapes. You can brush them into a bucket with soapy water and they will die. Dont remove them and throw then away

You can also treat with a Bt spray which is an organic solution that uses proteins of a bacteria that is effective against caterpillars

Do you have many grape vines
