You may be giving your thyme plant too much water. Thyme likes well-draining soils and you should let the soil begin to dry out in between watering. A few more details would be helpful to figure this out

Hi Lindsay!!! It looks better now. The culprit was partly our naughty dogs who i discovered were uprooting some! Haha! But your tips are so helpful thank you! My thyme is semi indoor as it's in a screened portion of our terrace. We live in The Phils., tropical climate.

Vittoria, I'm glad you caught your culprit, but just a friendly tip: thyme is an herb and they prefer more neglect than attention. A good way to manage your culprit and the plant is to ensure the soil around it is pretty rocky (I use gravel outside or small river rocks inside) which helps drainage and dogs don't seem to enjoy. Sounds like you live in heaven! It's about 2 degrees here today. ugh.

Vittoria, is this an indoor plant or an outdoor plant? What is your geographic location? (this helps people make suggestions based on your climate), what have you tried already? I think more detail is needed in order for you to get an answer to this question. over 10 years ago.
