When to prune a fig tree

Fig    None Given

Hello, after a freeze 2 years ago then the following season my fig tree did not bear fruit. Then the following Fall, the fruit was very tiny. It seems to be coming back but when is a good time to prune it and should I wait until it fully recuperates?

Normally the fig tree no need pruning; but, if tree have a few branches broken, sick or weak, then, you must pruning them.
The best season to do it is on winter, Before the new foliar growth.
